Malta and Anjouan. Every other market is for later

Counted from the game registry and the market packs each time the page renders. When another game is measured, the number changes by itself.

We did not set out to make a game

We set out to find what has to be true for a title to cost almost nothing to make, and then built that. The games are what that system produces, and it pays off from the second title onwards.

The system came first

A studio that starts from a game ends up with a game and a pile of code that only fits it. We started from the other end: the generator, the measurement engine, the cabinet, the motion layer and the evidence pipeline exist as shared tools first, and a game is assembled out of them. Where a rule belongs is settled by one question: how many games can it be wrong for at once?

30 mechanic families, 63,276 lines of shared code, and four layers deciding where a rule belongs.

Every title pays for the next

Work done on one game does not stay on it. A solved layout, a priced mechanic family, a named curve, a timed celebration, a market pack that has been read: each is written once into the layer every later title inherits, and a check fails if a game drifts away from it.

Eight games with eight different mechanics from one toolkit. None of them is a reskin.

A different cost floor

In this industry a game is priced by headcount times months, and every studio in it carries two to three hundred people. Our cost floor is far below that. It changes what we can offer on a title and which titles are worth making: a mechanic, a market or an audience too small for a three-hundred-person slate is an ordinary week’s work here.

There is no live operator and no rate card yet. This describes the cost structure; it is not a quoted discount.

Where this goes: 1,000 titles live with a team of under 10, which would make us the first studio to get there by building the factory instead of the slate. What is true today can be checked here: 4 games measured on their own evidence, 4 more built, no operator live and no laboratory certificate in any environment.

Three guardians hold the sunken city down by its breath. Burst them with pearls and dive from the reef to the city, where the Deep Pot is banked in steps instead of risked whole.

Its return is a first probe, and every figure moves when the calibration lands.

A bank vault door is the board: a ring of sixteen turns clockwise around four falling tumblers, and three dials open it for the getaway.

Its maths is not calibrated yet: every pay and weight in the demo is a placeholder, so no evidence pack exists to read a figure from.

What makes a figure on this site different

Every provider publishes a return. The difference is where the number comes from, and whether anything would notice if it stopped being true.

Read from the pack

Every figure on a game page is read out of that game’s certification pack, which is written by the measurement run itself. There is no content management system between the maths and the page, so a page cannot say one thing while the game does another.

npm run certify writes the pack; artefacts:check fails when a published figure drifts from the maths that produced it.

A return has an interval

96.58% means nothing without the precision it was measured to. Ours carry the confidence interval and whether the figure was enumerated exactly, bounded, or sampled. No competitor site publishes either.

docs/MATH-CONVENTIONS.md defines every term, and no other document may define one.

Two engines disagree

A second implementation, written clean-room from the specification and sharing no code with the first, measures the same game. When they disagree the pack does not ship. It found a defect that paid 705× for a prize the paytable called 5,000×.

ADR-034. A published pack with no fresh, complete, agreeing independent report fails the merge gate.

A simulated run of Sleep Tight, using the return (96.27%) and the per-round σ (9.31) from its certification pack. Early on, the estimate is tens of points out. The band narrows as one over the square root of the rounds played, which is why a pack measures billions of them and why every return we publish carries its margin.

The licence block

Two launch markets, four fields

When a supplier licence is granted, it is published here in this form: the entity, the class, the number and the date for each market, with a link to the regulator’s public register.

We launch in Malta and Anjouan. Every other market is for the future: we are thinking about them, and we have not decided to enter any of them.

Getaway Gaming is not yet licensed as a supplier in any jurisdiction. No test house has certified a build, in any environment, and nothing on this site is an offer to play for money.

And the demos are demos

Every game here can be played with no account, no operator and no deposit. The word demo means three different things in this industry, so this is exactly what ours are.

The same certified maths

A demo replays a recorded pool of rounds dealt by the same resolver, at the same rung, that an operator would be served. It is not a second, friendlier game built for a shop window.

The pool is re-recorded by npm run fixtures whenever a rung is re-certified.

It starts anywhere in the pool

Every load enters the rotation at a uniform random offset and prints its seed. A pool played from position zero advertises a return no short session can reach, because the largest win sits two thirds of the way along it.

A fixed start was 65.6% realised at fifty spins against an advertised 96.9%.

No wallet is attached

No money goes in or out, and the balance on a demo is not real money. There is no account to open and nothing to deposit into.

A real launch needs an operator, a licence and a certificate, and is refused without all three.

A demo is not evidence about the maths. A rotation’s realised return belongs to the pool, not to the game. The figures that count as evidence are on each game’s own page, with the interval and the method they were measured to.
